As a reputed manufacturer we are giving our services to our clients from our well established workshop which is having excellent facilities under one roof such as Heavy Capacity Plate Bending Machines, Dishing Presses of different capacity, Dish Spinning Machines, CNC Plasma Cutting Machines, Submerged Arc – Column & Boom and various other conventional fabrication machineries.

Our fabrication workshops are fully supported by in house machining facility with lathes, milling, grinding, drilling machines. In line with our vision, we have set up a facility that can reliably handle almost any kind of Steel fabrication. Our wide range of skills, machinery and workshops allows KGC to undertake tailor made equipment for delivery within strict and tight deadlines.

Technical Expertise

Design & Engineering

The Engineering and Design facility features up to date IT infrastructure providing advance communications and data transfer systems, as well as the latest engineering and design software for design of Pressure Vessels, heat Exchangers and Tanks. The team consists of experienced draughtsmen with expertise in AutoCAD as well as advanced 3D modelling softwares.

KGC’s experienced design team has excellent working knowledge of ASME Sec VIII Div I&II, ASME PVHO, PED, PD5500 & IS 2825 and are well conversant with other international codes and standards such as EN 13445, AS 1210 (Australia), DOSH (Malaysia), NR 13 (Brazil), etc.

We can design complex and challenging pressure vessels with custom features including FEA Finite Element Analysis, Fatigue analysis, Strain gage and burst testing for proof of non-standard designs, High temperature design, Thermal stress and strain. Our Engineering team is always enthusiastic to take challenging projects. Together we find solutions for you.

With plenty of experience supplying to offshore and marine industry, we are familiar with offshore rules for welded constructions for reputed classification societies like LR, ABS, IRS, RINA, DNV, NK.

KGC has the experience over three decades of handling a wide range of engineering metals and metallurgies. Our versatility extends from fabricating simple parts to complex parts and assemblies in Stainless Steel; all grades ie 304, 321, 316, 904 etc., Carbon Steel, Chrome Moly Steels, Duplex, Super Duplex, Cupro Nickel Alloys, Inconel 625, Aluminium, Hastelloy.

An inventory of commonly used material is maintained at all times. Excellent relationships with renowned Industry vendors allows KGC to receive preferential treatment and quick response for long lead-time items. Coded Workshop

Welding Capabilities

As a coded workshop facility to build pressure vessels, all our welders are selected, trained and tested consistently as per approved welding procedures. We have procedures covering a wide range of materials and thicknesses approved by various renowned third party agencies. KGC’s welders are experienced in working with Carbon steel, 300 & 400 series Stainless Steels, Duplex, Inconel, Hastelloy, Aluminium, Titanium other Nickel alloys.

WPS, PQR, WPQ records are performed as per ASME Sec IX standard. Our workshop is well equipped with up to date calibrated welding machines. KGC has the ability to quickly and authoritatively develop and certify new welding procedures when required to meet a client’s need.

Post Weld Heat Treatment

Critical process for achieving correct mechanical properties. Subcontracted to well-established facilities with different capacity furnaces, overlooked by our experienced QC team.
